Terms of use

Last updated 2 November 2026. These terms cover the haki closed test.

haki was tested under the working name Behta. The Google sign-in screen may still show that name while the app is renamed. It is the same service, run by the same person, under these terms.

haki is an early, invitation-only test run by a small team of finance operators in Bengaluru, India ("we"). By using haki you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy.

Who can use it

haki is for invited adults (18 or over). We can end or limit your access at any time, and the whole test can stop without notice.

What haki is

haki is an AI assistant on WhatsApp. It reads text you send and, if you connect Gmail, emails from financial senders. It helps you find problems with banks, cards, loans and insurance and drafts emails you can send.

Approving emails

haki sends an email from your Gmail only after you tap Approve or confirm. Once you approve, the email is sent in your name and you are responsible for what it says. Read each draft first. During the test, approved emails may be redirected to your own inbox instead of the bank, and haki will say so.

Your account and your data

Acceptable use

Do not use haki to break the law, to deceive a bank or insurer, to harass anyone, to attack or overload the service, or to try to read another person's data.

No warranty and limits on liability

haki is a test provided as it is, without promises that it will be accurate, available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses that come from using the test, including a bank's decision, a missed deadline or an email you approved. Nothing here limits any right you have under law that cannot be limited.

Changes and the end of the test

We may change these terms. If a change matters, the date above will change and invited testers will be told. When the test ends, we delete the data as set out in the privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru have jurisdiction.
